Pressure Sensitive Adhesives On Sheet RubberDeccofelt has developed a process of bonding pressure sensitive adhesives to sheet rubber. Most sheet rubber goods have difficult to bond to surfaces. Typical processing has been to roller or spray on a messy, costly, environmentally-unfriendly solvent-based contact cement as a primer, let it cure, and then apply a pressure sensitive adhesive over this coating. The final bond to the sheet rubber is still easy to peel off.
Deccofelt has developed a one-step process that achieves a much stronger bond of pressure sensitive adhesives to most sheet rubber roll goods. It is also cleaner, less costly, and uses no solvents.
